Care & Use Instructions

How to Use the Backpack Safely:
Measure First: Measure your pet’s neck girth, chest girth, and back length before ordering. If between sizes, size up.
Adjust All Straps: Loosen all buckles before placing your pet inside. Put the backpack on, then place your pet in the pouch facing forward.
Secure Your Pet: Attach the internal safety clip to your pet’s harness. Never attach to a collar. Buckle the chest and side straps.
Check Fit: You should fit 2 fingers between the strap and your pet. Pet should sit upright, not slouched.
Start Short: Let your pet get used to the carrier at home for 5-10 minutes before longer trips. Reward with treats.

Cleaning Instructions:
Spot Clean: Wipe dirt, mud, or drool with a damp cloth and mild pet-safe soap.
Deep Clean: Hand wash in cold water with gentle detergent. Do not bleach.
Air Dry Only: Hang in shade to dry. Do not tumble dry or iron, as heat can damage mesh and buckles.
Buckle Care: Check buckles and stitching monthly for wear and tear.

How to Measure Your Pet in Centimeters:
Neck Girth: Measure around the base of the neck. Leave room for comfort.
Chest Girth: Measure around the widest part of the chest, behind the front legs.
Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Tip: If your pet is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for extra comfort. For puppies, consider their growth when selecting a size.
